St Marguerite Sports Club

Founded in 1936, St. Marguerite Sports Club now has 2500 members divided throughout the following sections: athletics, basket ball, petanque, dance, sports school, football, rhythmic gymnastics, handball, hockey, karate, ki shin tai, kindergarten club, hiking, tennis, cycling, volleyball

The athletics, tennis, swimming and gymnastics section prove the most popular with 200 members per section, with over 300 for athletics and swimming.

The athletics, rhythmic gymnastics and karate sections are notable as they participate in high level competitions and are often rewarded with medals not only as individuals but also as teams.

The other sections are equally as good in local competitions, both in county and regional competitions. A notable match was in September 2005 when the SCO St Marguerite hockey team played against the British team ‘Masounians' from London.

Owing to the wide variety of activities offered, our club members benefit enormously from meeting people of all ages and passing some super moments not only of fun but also of learning. That's why we have activities for everybody, from kindergarten sports school to hill-walking for the older generation.
